Go out to practice this morning,nice and cool early today.

Besides the usual 15 footer practice I busted out the 18 today,it's been a while since I cast it.

I've always wanted to cook up a good distance line for it-I made one proto but the front taper is not long enough-casts nice but wont pull a good distance-too much level line in the belly to get the right length is killing the pull potential.

I went through some of my old comp heads in search of a longer front taper-I think I might have found something to run with and will try it tomorrow.

That has always been the trouble with long line building,getting good,long front tapers.
